Easter Fun at Petite Street Play Village – Special Events & Holiday Play Sessions

Easter is one of our favourite times of the year at Petite Street Play Village, and we’re so excited to share all the lovely things we have planned for families this Easter.

Alongside our usual role play sessions, we have a series of special Easter events, returning favourites and even an Easter photography opportunity. If you're looking for Easter activities for young children in South Leicestershire, we’d love to welcome you to the village.

Here’s what we have coming up this Easter.


Easter Photography Morning with VixPix Photography


Friday 20th March | 9:30–11:00

We’re delighted to welcome VixPix Photography to Petite Street for a beautiful Easter-themed photo setup.

During this relaxed play session, families will have the opportunity to capture some gorgeous seasonal photos of their little ones in a lovely Easter set.

The best part?There is no charge for the photo shoot itself — you only purchase images if you would like to.

Children can enjoy role play in the village while waiting for their turn, making it a relaxed and enjoyable experience for everyone.


Good Friday Easter Story Time


Friday 3rd April | 9:30–11:00

We’re so excited to welcome Katie from Katie’s Characters back to Petite Street for a special Easter story session.

This 90-minute play session includes a 30-minute interactive story time featuring the lovely seasonal story:

“We’re Going on an Egg Hunt.”

Children can enjoy:

  • A 90-minute play session in the village

  • A fun and engaging interactive story

  • Time for imaginative role play before and after the story

  • A relaxed Easter-themed experience perfect for younger children

Katie’s storytelling sessions are always beautifully delivered and incredibly engaging for little ones.


Meet the Easter Bunny & Spring Pixie Blossom


Saturday 4th April

Session 1: 9:30–11:00 Session 2: 11:15–12:45

Our Easter Bunny and Pixie event is returning for the fourth year, and every single one so far has completely sold out.

During each session, the Easter Bunny and his friend Blossom the Spring Pixie will visit the village for a 45-minute meet and greet, bringing lots of springtime magic with them.

Families can enjoy:

  • Singing and dancing with the characters

  • Fun interactions with the Easter Bunny and Blossom

  • Photo opportunities

  • Plenty of imaginative play in the village

This event has become a favourite Petite Street tradition and always creates such a lovely atmosphere.


K-Pop Super fans Session – Back by Popular Demand


Wednesday 8th April | 11:15–12:45

During the Easter holidays we’re also bringing back one of our most energetic and exciting sessions.

Our K-Pop Super fans session was a complete sell-out last time, so we’re thrilled to run it again.

Children can enjoy:

  • Singing and dancing

  • Glitter tattoos

  • Photo opportunities

  • A high-energy themed session alongside role play time

Perfect for little performers who love music and dancing.


Easter Holiday Role Play Sessions


Alongside our special events, we will also be running regular play sessions throughout the Easter holidays.

Each session gives children the opportunity to explore our beautiful role play village, using their imagination across the different areas while parents relax with a coffee.

Our sessions are designed to be small, calm and welcoming, making them perfect for younger children.
