Gruffalo story time & play adventure at Petite Street Play Village

"Oh help, oh no! It's a Gruffalo!"

One of the most loved children's stories of all time is coming to life at Petite Street Play Village! Join us for a magical Gruffalo Story time where little ones can step into the pages of Julia Donaldson's classic tale and experience the adventure for themselves.

We'll snuggle up for an interactive reading of The Gruffalo, bringing all the characters to life - from the clever little mouse to the the owl, snake, fox...and of course, the Gruffalo himself! With plenty of fun voices, actions and audience participation, it's the perfect way to make story time extra special.

But the fun doesn't stop there...before and after the story, children can explore our role play areas. Will they serve Gruffalo crumble in the cafe? Or send him a letter from the post office? Or nurse him back to health at the vets? In our little village, anything is possible!

Storytelling sparks imagination, builds language skills and encourages a lifelong love of reading - and when it's combined with play, the magic really happens!
